We are delighted to welcome the wonderfully quirky humour of Bewilderbeest to the Comedy Card Company. We suspect that their funny greeting cards will go down a storm.
Ian Hamilton is the talented creator behind the Bewilderbeest range and although he is ridiculously tall he is not beastly in any way, at least not as far as we are aware(!). A self taught artist, Iain initially worked on the family farm before making greeting cards his full time job. Ian is based in Suffolk and runs the company alongside his wife Maddy.
Bewilderbeest's tag line is 'Proudly Absurd' and the quirky puns and daft captions stand testament to this motto. As well as a good sense of humour the illustrations are also beautifully drawn, Ian is a talented artist. The quality of the greeting cards is also top notch, printed on thick board with a hammered texture.
To show just how talented he is, Ian won a Henries Award in 2022 for Most Promising Young Designer (the Henries are like the Oscars for the greeting card world).
